A Word from the Editor
******

Hey kids. I'm surprised this one got out on time. The past week,
I've been helping a friend fix-up his backyard, and haven't been
home as much as usual. I'm glad I planned ahead. On another note,
I recently started watching Buffy: The Vampire Slayer on the WB.
Not too bad.

We have our first soundtrack reviews in this issue. From our
friend dstarr@isys.ca comes two soundtrack reviews; one for
1998's Psycho and another for I Still Know What You Did Last
Summer. And, as always, J. Newman brings another installment of
tough, but fun horror trivia.

If you, too, would like to have something you have written to be included in
this newsletter, find more information at:

Talk to you around the 15th,

Coming Soon: Sleepy Hollow - Pat McGreal
******

From the dark mind that brought you "A Nightmare Before
Christmas", "Frankenweenie" and the first two Batman films, Tim
Burton, comes "Sleepy Hollow", a re-telling of the legend of
Ichabod Crane and the all-too-famous headless horseman.

The scheduled line-up includes such names as Johnny Depp (Edward
Scissorhands) Christopher Walken (The Addiction, Last Man
Standing) and Christina Ricci (The Opposite of Sex, Fear and
Loathing in Las Vegas), Danny Elfman, who did the score for "A
Nightmare Before Christmas", will be doing the score for "Sleepy
Hollow" and of course, Tim Burton will be behind the camera.

Look for "Sleepy Hollow" to hit theaters this summer. Based on
the performance of "Mars Attacks!", I expect this to be a big
box-office contender.

Hellraiser V - Pat McGreal
******

Hellraiser V has received the green light from Dimension Films.
Doug Aarniokoski has been named to direct the fifth in the series
created by Clive Barker. Aarniokoski has worked as assistant
director on such films as "The Faculty", "The Crow: City of
Angels" and "From Dusk 'til Dawn." Michael Lent is reported to
have been chosen to write the screenplay. Let's just hope they
maintain the high quality the "Hellraiser" series has been known
for (except that little mishap known as "Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth".)

Information on this production is still few and far between, so
as I learn more, the information will be passed along to you.
Stay tuned for much more.

Soundtrack Reviews: I Still Know What You Did Last Summer/Psycho
******

Hello everybody, and welcome to this issues review. In this issue
we'll take a look at two albums from newly released films Psycho
and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Psycho has a good mix of tunes, featuring Rod Zombie, Pet Shop
Boys, Steve Earle and Girls Against Boys to name a few. There is
also a really cool song called "Psycho" by Teddy Thompson. The
original score is still intact, but was redone by Danny Elfman.
Rating: 3/5 (Good to get you in that Psychotic mood.)

Our second soundtrack is I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
This CD does have a few good songs on it, but the majority are
scarred by the CD player skip button. One of those songs to hit
the grave is Ms. Hewitt's "How Do I Deal". Other artists on this
one include New Order, Orgy, Grant Lee Buffalo and Lamb.
Rating: 2/5 (If you have a choice, take the first one)

That's it for now, don't forget to get in your votes for the Top
5 Horror Soundtracks. Send in your votes to dstarr@isys.ca
